The American Humane Association, a nationally recognized leader in child and animal protection programs since 1877, is seeking a dynamic, high energy, and visionary leader for its Child Protection Services programs and a Senior Member of AHA's Executive team. The ideal candidate is that individual with an advanced degree(s) in social welfare or public policy or law and direct professional experience as an advocate for and a provider of child programs to meet the needs of vulnerable children and families on the national, state, and local level. Requirements: Support for developing programs that address duality of mission; progressive experience managing a professional staff and budgets; a successful background in the design, implementation, and evaluation of child abuse prevention and intervention programs; and proven track-record developing, monitoring and managing financial resources and managing multiple national programs.
