Youth Venture
Arlington, VA
Youth Venture is a new and growing national not-for-profit organization that invests in young people as changemakers. We enable young people nationwide to take greater responsibility for their lives and communities by creating and leading their own organizations, clubs and projects. Through their ventures, young people are transforming themselves and society by helping to redefine the years of youth as a time of competency and initiative.
We operate principally by bringing together three elements necessary for the launch of successful ventures: creative youth; Allies who encourage and open doors for them; and Partners (organizations and institutions generally already working with young people) who organize the effort locally, remove community barriers, advocate, underwrite expenses, and provide access to a wider network of support services. Youth Venture is currently operating in the Washington D.C., New York, and Boston metro areas. Visit our website www.youthventure.org for detailed information about the organization.
