Idealist, a directory of Web-based nonprofit and volunteering resources, has added another service: an online Nonprofit Career Center.

The new service includes listings of nonprofit job sites and directories from around the world, including the Philanthropy News Network's own Nonprofit Jobs directory.

The various job sites and directories are cross-referenced by state and/or country, so the career service is truly international.

The Idealist service also includes a directory of public service fellowships, salary surveys, professional associations academic program listings for nonprofit management, other education programs for young people, tips for nonprofit job applicants and advice for people wanting to work and/or volunteer overseas.

Nonprofit groups with other online career-based sites or information can submit their sites for inclusion on the Idealist center.

Idealist is a project of the nonprofit Action Without Borders. It is designed as an online "one-stop shopping" resource for nonprofit service and volunteer opportunities.
