PROFESSIONALS for NONPROFITS, Inc. specializes in the placement of staff for nonprofit organizations in New York City. We are currently working on a search for a management-consulting firm that provides fundraising management, strategic planning, and financial planning to nonprofit organizations. This is a permanent, full-time position with offices located in NYC.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Senior Development Consultant will oversee fundraising planning and execution for the firm's various nonprofit organizations and agencies. The individual in this position will participate in brainstorming sessions, will supervise staff assigned to projects, and will supervise outside consultants and vendors assigned projects. This position also involves new business development and client retention.
REQUIREMENTS: Seven to ten years of experience in client management, business development, and strategic planning within a fundraising, public relations or major nonprofit organization is needed, and familiarity with standard word processing, spreadsheet, database management, fundraising and financial management software is required.
COMPENSATION: $70 - $100K and full benefits.
